Agni Natchathiram was the first movie whose BGM clips i uploaded on this blog more than two years ago. Now, its time for a re-visit. It is a universal phenomenon that Mani has a great taste for music and has been able to extract out the best of both his music directors. The poll on this very blog also says the same.
This scene would have been just another ordinary fight scene of the 80's , if not for Raja's music. I don't give any points for those glittery flashes that are aching my head. Maybe,
Bharathiraja's even better, in this aspect. The idea of the flashes sounds reasonable, when the power supply is messed up in a hospital, but to flash the screen for an entire fight sequence is debatable, atleast for me. Never mind. Mani has done a whole lot of good , for both Tamil cinema and us, and it is way too trivial to discuss an issue like this, about a man of his stature.
The Scene:
Ashok and Gautham are siblings born of a same father, but different mothers. They clash against each other through out the movie. Towards the end of teh movie, tehy need to come together, to save their father, who has to submit a report about the baddie.
